The future of our financial services sector after Brexit and the UK’s trading prospects are just two of the topics likely to surface at a Weber Shandwick breakfast with Baron Macpherson of Earl’s Court.
Until March 2016, Permanent Secretary at HM Treasury, Lord Macpherson has since embarked on a career in the private sector, embracing roles as a Non-executive Director at British Land plc and at the Scottish American Investment Trust as well as stepping up as Chairman of the world’s oldest private bank, C Hoare & Co. He has also becoming something of an agenda-setting Twitter star as @nickmacpherson2.
The event will take place on Wednesday 2 August 2017 – 0815-0945 at Weber Shandwick, 2 Waterhouse Square, 140 Holborn EC1N 2AE.
Coffee will be served from 0815, with breakfast starting at 0830. Lord Macpherson will offer his thoughts on the current political and policy scene, with a focus on financial services and economy, after which there will be an open Q&A session. The breakfast will end between 0930 and 0945.
